Sage Zaxis spey rods

Any casted these new sage rods?? or even seen one in any of the local shops yet?

Hey Eric, I got six weight single hand in October. It took a while to get get used to that much power cause I usualy fish the slower action stuff for trout but planned on using it for big dollies. I caught a couple coho on it, and think will be awsome for pinks next fall. I have only talked to one other guy that has one and he said the same thing, cannon.

are they noticebly lighter in the hand??
is it a cannon like a broom stick or cannon with nice casting feel?

They are super light and powerfull, I think they cast nice once you get used to it, it took me a while!!

I have only picked up a five weight at the store and felt they where very full flexing. I can't attest to how fast they are if you are looking for a cannon.

If you are looking for a deadly 5/6 wt rocket ship I could recommend an inexpensive blank I purchased in Oregon.
