    Default coho and cutts

I was out for a couple hours yesterday in Fulford here on saltspring island and had a blast.I landed 5 coho and a couple nice cutties which had that nice golden, yellow colour with heavy spotting.I also lost 4 more.I started with #4 mickey finn, then they seamed to lose interest,so I swithed to a #6 black wooley bugger with some flash. They went nutts for this when stripped very fast. After awhile they tired of this offering and my fingers were numb and the tide was falling,so I called it a day.I have noticed the fish only come in shallow on a high tide.About an hour before, durring and an hour after high tide is the best. The fish weren't huge, but a couple of the coho were in the 3lb range and faught well on a 5 weight.

I have caught sea-runs in Fulford Harbour. Beautiful, healthy fish. I've had my best winter SRC fishing here on southern V.I. in the last 10 years. Have landed a few Bluebacks as well.
