Default Ice on stairs = crash

Well after recuperating from one health issue another presented itself to me.
We had to go out yesterday morning and I went out the door with 2 year old in my arms and headed through the door to the porch stairs.
Three steps down my feet were suddenly at eye level and we came down to a crash then slid down the remaining 10 stairs.
Our son stayed on my chest while I held him tight for the ride down.
I on the other hand was not so lucky, very sore and bruise developing on left butt/hip and 2 very sore ribs .
The wife took the little guy in to check him out ( not a scratch)and he was real mad that he had to go in while I was still outside.
After crawling up the stairs and struggling to open the door and catch my breath the boss said get up we are late.
Once she saw I was hurt she said she could take me to a clinic.
I declined and went for self medication, 2 T3"s and filled the travel mug with Grand Marnier and a shot of coffee.
    Wobbling around today.

    Default Ouch!

Good on ya for looking after junior.
When something like that happens all you think about is the little one.
One day when he is older you will tell him about it and you will both laugh.
Maybe even over a travel mug filled with Grand Marnier and a shot of coffee.

Now I know you are hurting, but your flies still have to be done on time
