    Default Flesh Flies

Does anybody any pics of some flesh flies maybe a recipe or two? I'm thinking of head ing to the upper squamish and I'd like to tie some up before I go.
    Thanks

    Default flesh pics

A simple and very effective flesh fly.

Eyes optional- lead or whatever suits the water.
    Tail- rabbit strip
    Body- rabbit strip

    I tie these two ways.
    1
    Tie in eyes or not.
Tie rabbit strip in at mid point on hook shank
    Wrap forward of eyes.
    Tie off.
    2
    Tie in eyes or not
Tie in rabbit strip at head.

thats it.whip a dozen off in no time.
I use heavy wire hooks for these usually.
Use rabbit in various shades of
    Tan
    Ginger
    Gray
    natural brown/gray
    washed out pinks

The darker natural gray is very cool as the hide stays quite light
and the resultant fly looks like a piece of skin coming down the current.
Dark on one side light on the other.

    Dollies/bulls and steelies like em.

    Have fun
