    Default Rattling

Anybody out there ever rattle up a buck?
I have a couple of calls and am thinking about picking up a rattling bag.
Seems to me a lot of areas I hunt would lend themselves well to this.
    It sure would be exciting.

It would be a lot easier than carrying antlers around, unless you attach them to your hat Phearless. Then you could bash some branches.

Whitetails, being the more aggressive, are very susceptible to the rattle whereas muleys rarely come in to a rattle, though it does happen occasionally. I also have the rattlebag but the real attractor is the Knight&Hale squeezebag type of grunt call which is absolutely awesome for calling in both muleys and whities. Twice during the rut I managed to stop spooked bucks dead in their tracks.

I have called muleys in the past by using an antler and raking a willow as one would do with a moose scapula.
