It is also possible to do both in the same day.
Many of the islands in the fraser have BT on them
    Cost is up to you.
    You already have a rifle.

gotta watch the rifle hunting on the islands of the fraser...it is illegal in most areas, using a shot gun and slug however is a o.k! However I find that the deer season around here starts more in october and for me I am not out to catch boots in the vedder so hunting it is!

What regions are the islands in the river? The river separates the regions. Region 2-3 and 2-18 are separated by the river.

I have always went by the "when in doubt don't" philosopy and the boundarys are generally the respective river bank of that region, however the islands in any river that is a boundry are a grey area. I would go with the most limited regs and apply those to the island. Even if it says hunting is legal, the distances from some islands in the lower river to main roads and houses are way too small to use a rifle, never mind the river traffic. Other than that some islands are inside city limits and that means no discharge of a fire arm with special conditions (ie certain areas allow shot gun for water fowl and small game) I can't remember the exact wording of the regs, but read them and read them well, they will give you the info you need.

    Default Oops

    Whet mhe wephrase wat.
I didn't mean to insinuate to use a rifle on the islands.
    Should have specified.
    Sorry to cause any confusion.
What I meant was you already have most of what you need to hunt,
so the cost will be low.
