    Default Gordon Griffiths Thread

While we are on threads about threads
Gordon Griffiths 14/0 is an excellant thread.
I use it for most of my more complicated steelhead flies.
    Low. low bulk.
    Smooth and strong.
I put it at 8/0 compared to other brands.
It is multi strand so it can be split for dubbing.
So far for for my smallest flies, this is the thread I reach for.

Interesting, I've never tried that brand. What sold me on Bennechi was the colours. How does Griffith's compare?

    Default Colours

If memory serves me right, the colour selection is quite good.
    20 colours believe.
Right now I have black and white.
I very often use white and colour it to match the fly.
It is a trick I learned from Harry Lemire, among others

    Yes it is awesome.
    Even with my ill expertise.
Black and white and a handful of sharpies.
