This is what I use. Just a couple of dowels and some beadchain.

Saw somebody that was using a venetian blind as a rack. Cool.
That would be a good idea as well.

I have a rack on the tool rack that attaches to the stem of my vise.

If it takes more than a minute to tie i wont use em for clients
steelhead flies are a different story though theyr speeciaal
besides i get emotionally attached to them if they take to long and then i wont fish em for fear of having to tie more

I know what you mean.
Flies I tie for myself now are either 2 minute bunny or marabou something or others.
Or I don't care how long this takes me to tie it is going to kick butt and steelhead are worth it.
