For those members going to the Intruder tying clinic in Maple Ridge on Dec.14th...please call the Hatch Matcher store in Maple Ridge to register...they have about 12 spots left...
I will be tying various intruders as stingers,Tubes and long shank Streamer hook. You will get a chance to see some Tuffleye, Eumer tubes and other great tying products...12-4 pm...We are coming over from the Island so lets see you there

I've been playing around with many intruders over the past several weeks and have to say that the possibilities are vast...but simple is good...most of the Steelhead I have landed over the past 10 years on Intruders have been on flies that are sleek,lots of movement,some flash and mostly with a tone of Red in there somewhere...Now that is the majority though...Black./Blue...Chartreuse/Brown, Olive/Chartreuse...Brown/Black and so on.
