Welcome Andy.
Ask away and we will help out as we can.
Perhaps we can wet a line together one day.
Flies know no borders.
Hi, my name is andy, i'm from germandy and i'm 22 years old.
i travelled trough BC 1 and a half year ago for 2 month and now i try to get a visum for travel and work.i love flyfishing but i didn't meet lots of flyfishing people on my last trip and i didn't had that much luck because i didn't know where to fish and how because you have so many waters out there and such nice areas but where to go to catch some nice steels or salmon or other species isn't very easy so i thought to look for information and maybe some nice people to make some fishing trips in my upcomming year. I thought about guiding but one problem is, that guides are very expensive and for a person which is at school at the moment its a bit to expensive.
last year i traveld with a friendto los roques venezuela, we got a cheap fly and we fished on our own and landed some nice bones, small jacks and and some barracudasif you want , i can show u some nice pictures
hope you can help me with my questions and i'm looking forward to meet some people on my trip and to catch some nice fishs *gg*!
tight lines
Andy from germany![]()

Hey andy! Hows germany? What kind of fishing do you like? Lakes or stream/rivers? Also what regions of BC are you planning on fishing? We'd love to see those pictures from venezuala!
Hello Andy...Welcome of course ...please feel free to ask away...next time to BC let us know and we will do what we can to set you up for some good fishing without having to spend a fortune
C
i like every kind of fishing but i'm very interreste in catching some stealheads or salmon at the ocean or in streams![]()
in germany we fish the most of the time in smaller streems for trout or catch some pike at lakes.
this year i didn't have enough time to fish alot but next year i will fish as often i can
over the winter i will stay close to whistler and work there for a while because another big hobby of me is snowboarding and there i will go to the northern part of BC and i'll try to get a job at an fishing lodge over the summer season or something like that
thank andy![]()
