Has anyone heard of the Pacific Salmon Forum? The prov. government put it in place in 2004 to protect the salmon stocks. They're are 7 people on the board. A couple of fishing guides, some natives, some fish farmers and a politician. I hope they're doing something about the problems. Does anyone know the people on the board?

Well you pretty much nailed it ...they are or so it seems to be a very ineffective group that tows the lines sent to them...almost like chum salmon only with no fight!
IMO it was simply put together as a mad rush scenario to look like the gov' was doing something after the initial Sea Lice Scare...
The commercial interests are seriously lobbying to get past these folks to enforce their own ideals and conceived needs. We will soon see the results in a combined or integrated sport/commercial fishery with allotments for First Nations first,Commercial and sports and then the rest of us.,what is left after that is for spawning and such unimportant events!!??
