Default Wool body for spey flies?

Just curious what type of wool to use for the body of a spey fly. I will be wrapping the wool not cutting it up and using it like dubbing.

From what I have seen the bodies are smooth with no fuzz.

I have never seen wool in fly shops so i was wondering what type is appropriate or a name and I will check out some textile shops.

    Hi VanisleAloha.
The wool I use for spey and dee flies is Uni Yarn. It comes in a wide range of colours and is very easy to work with.

    Cliff.

Ps. It comes on a spool just like thread.
