    Default Dealing with deer hair

I just got a deer tail and some hide from a buddy who was hunting this weekend. Have a look at the pics. Now I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what to do, but i'm lloking forward to learning! Can anyone send me in the right direction? How do i preserve it without it stinking? How do i clean it and get rid of mites etc that might screw up the rest of my supplies? How long do you pin it out for?

I've looked carefully at Phearless's pics for his preparation, but as i'm a total newb to this, any extra advice would be great!

    Thanks
