My wife went on a field trip with the nieces school on the north shore.
She was at a picnic table and turned around and clic.
100 feet away she says. I thought maybe 100 yards.
But I was not there, that work thing.
The kids were all down near the water with the teachers and they stayed around for a while apparently.

I didn't see any bucks this evening.
Two chickens, very spooky. I am guessing that there used to be more
in the covey
I did see one whitetail doe on the hill in the nieghbourhood on the way home.
Next week off to region 3 for a big boy
