Note the life vest and mustang floater pants, I think she was a little nervous!! The boat did not leak at all, I was really happy with it.

After weeks of late nights spent cutting. gluing, swearing, clamping, swearing, painting, and swearing, I finished the small fishing skiff I started. It works great for my girlfriend, but will not comfortably fit my 200 lb frame. (I tried)
We decided to go to Deer lake out by Harrison lake to camp for the weekend and try it out. I had my pontoon and she did the maiden voyage in her little boat we christened "Troutshark". Powered by a 30lb thrust Minn kota and loaded up with a few beers, some sandwiches and her rods, she set sail!!!![]()

That's a nice little boat.
It would fit mini-me not full size phearless.
I see many days of fun in that ahead.
You are a lucky fellow...nice build...
C

Thanks guys! She really enjoys it, we are going to take it out again in a few weekends to chase some more trout. I would love to build a bigger one for me but that would make my boat total 5!
Hey HOOK, I think it will be awhile before I build another one...Gotta focus on work know that the economy has tanked!
Nice one! I'd laugh my ass off watching you try and get in and out of that! Nice work though! Lets take it out for a trout day soon! Remembrance day?
