Poly Wogs
Has anyone ever tryed dry fly fishing for chums? I've been reading how in Alaska they use big pink deer hair dry flies called poly wogs to entice chums to bite. Just wonderig if anyone's ever heard of this before.

I made a few polly wogs one year, never caught anything with them, but my friend took a few to ontario and caught some bass with them :lol:

yah I bet they would make killer smallie flys. In the article I read, the guy said they were in his fly box for about ten years until he found the right conditions to use them, but when he did, they slayed. Maybe a good beach cuttied fly? Hmm, could be exciting?
