    Default Estuary Chums

Any of you guys on the coast fishing chums on the beaches near estuaries?
There are several in Boundry Bay that should produce.
They do a fair bit of this in Washington State.
How about you Salar? There must be a few chum swimming by your door.
Hey Rick, did you find any up there in the Charlottes?

    Default Silver Chum

    Yeah Fred...
there are many opportunities all along the East Side of the Island for Chum.but not too many takers...simply because the rivers are so close and accessable. Was out today on the Lower Somass(Stamp) and the Little Qualicum for Chum...got a few on the Fresh water side of the Somass and a few on the Little Qualicum Salt area....there are big schools meandering all along the beaches near the Big Qualicum River but these bloks are difficult on the fly. My best fly for these brutes is a Green Coho Bugger tied with a Fl. Chartreuse Thread head...don't know why but this little bright green head is something else!
