    Default What you shooting?

What are you carrying out in the woods when you are hunting?
For rifle I am the proud owner of a vintage Husquvarna 30-06
I have a Leupold 3-9x40 VariX 2 mounted on her.
To finish it off Uncle Mikes swivels and a Booney Packer safari Sling.

Have you had that rifle a while? I was looking at a husquvarna 30.06 a few years back a Chilliwack dart and tackle. But it was a semi auto so I wasn't sure if I wanted it. I have a BSA bolt action 30.06. Haven't shot anything with it yet.

    Default many moons

I have had this rifle for almost 20 years geoffvl.
She is a bolt action with drop away floor plate.
There are a couple fewer moose around in the cariboo since I've owned it.

I just got mine because there have been some big furry black pigs in our cornfield and if they got to close to our cows then I'd have something to scare them away.

    Default furry black pigs

    Those pigs make sensational sausage.
I know a few guys who mix it with deer or moose and then add pork fat for some kick butt sausage.
Corn fed furry black pigs also have awesome hams and roasts.

7mm REM MAG bolt with 3 shot magazine and leupold 3-9X60 scope ( blued barrel and synthetic stock) to use so I can save the model -1932 30.30 lever and the springfield 30.06 bolt I got from my grandpas. ( they take a bit of a beating on the quad or when I am hiking and I would rather have them in original condition that with a replaced stock in a few years...though I will use the 30.30 every year for at least one trip..it's good luck and a family tradition...my daughter will be shooting that one someday!) I also have a 31A 12gauge with the 29" barrel, a kuwi 10 ga and two break action 12 ga that I don't know what they are. One single barrel and one double barrel with the two triggers and two hammers (oh so heavy!)
