    Hey all, never fished this lake but am going this weekend, I hear its very difficult! any advice is greatly appreaciated.

    I may have heard they like big dragons.
    Or boatmen if they are moving.
    All the usual suspects for lakes this time of the year will do the trick as well.

    Thankyou very much, iam used to river fishing so lakes are pretty much new for me so anything info in good.Thanks again!

    Lundbom can be a very humbling lake or it can leave you with a lifetime of memories all depending on your timing. There is always at least one 12 lb. fish taken there every year by locals. Your best chance for one of those hawgs would be fishing chironomids in the spring or, like Fred mentioned, boatmen in October and for the record they love Jennings' Ultimate Boatman.

    yeah, I was there many moons ago and saw and absolute behemoth porpoise about 10 feet from my float tube.

    Needless to say, I fished my heart out after seeing that.
