    Default Jet Power

I know some of us have Jet Boats.

Lets start a picture gallery showing all the different incarnations of Jet Boats.
    Past and present is fine.
I threw in the past in because I am missing my first sled that I basically built in the driveway.

The first shots are of my 1994 Wooldridge Xtraplus
    1995 Yamaha 115 Oil injected
I have added a second swim step on the transom
    Custom jack plate for jet.
I also have the prop leg for it.
    dual batteries
    electric windlass
The jet has about 50 hours or so on it
    Stainless impeller
3/4 top ( I have to get the drop back for it )
I will be adding a second windshield wiper and windy wash resovoir
This does most everything I want.

The last two are my first sled.
    1965 ( yes '65 ) Smokercraft 1648
    Highly modified with a tunnel
    stand up side console
    head lights
    custom anchor roller
    100 ltr built in tank
    under seat storage.
    aluminum floor
    1982 rebuilt merc 70 Hp
the big old model P jet

This puppy would run 2 1/2 inches with two guys. Sphincter factor was huge!

Here is a picture of my Jet boat that I reluctantly had to sell. I just couldn't talk the wife in to us having a river and a ocean boat!

    Default Very nice

Chilkoot, that is going to be a kick arse boat!
My next project is going to be a 16' x 5' tunnel hull sled.
I would like to put a 90/60 on her.

The little boats are so much fun.

    Default Nice Boats

    Fred,

I do like the wooldridge boats product line. There is one for sale up here and I am tempted...........needs a lot o work though.

As for the DIY...very impressive. This is a Yukon boat for sure. Many folks would love to get their hands on this one.

    Default Sled

    Thanks for the nod chilkoot.
I really miss that old boat now.
It was amazing what I could do with that old girl.
Mind you when it is cold and I put the top up I really like the new boat as well.
Like I said, I will have a new sled one day.
16-17 ft tunnel hulled 5 feet across the bottom.

    Hi

    Nice boats gentleman.
Phearless your 65' sled ruled, those old mercs ran great.
Your new one is pretty sweet too.

Rick , your jet looked like it would eat gravel and driftwood for lunch.

    Default Older Mercs

I love those old two strokes. I used to tear my old mans appart and fix it in the winter. My new E-Tec jet over reved when it hit a rock and the computer put it into service mode. A long paddle and walk home.I hate stuff you can not fix on the beach!!!!.I would love to get my hands on an old two stroke but up here they are all run into the ground.Steve

The old 2 strokers are sweet as candy.
I grew up horsing around with my dads 9.8 hp.
By no means a cool jet sled, but my dad used to have a lead sled , 48 chev.
