New book

Well as some may know I am in LA right now visiting my grandaughter. Oh ya, my daughter and son in law as well.
My wife and I just took our little Addie for a walk to.............

THE FLY SHOP!

17 months old, I figured she was ready for exposure to the cult.

So we are in the shop making car noises, ( I was pushing her around in a car stroller/walker ) and I decided to check out the books.
What is there for my unbelieving eyes to see......
a signed first edition of John Gierachs new book,

A Fool's Paradise.

I believe I have all of his books.

He has been my favourite writer for quite a number of years now.

Anybody else a fan?

Huge fan, and just finished Fool's Paradise myself. It was everything I have come to expect from a Gierach book.

I am in the process of trying to change over all of my paperback copies of his books to hardcover. Something as well written and entertaining as his should be kept within an appropriate cover.
