coating an anchor
has anyone been successful in painting a lead anchor with some sort of rubber coating. the one that i have leaves black marks everywhere and are a pain to remove.

I remember once, I used that rubber coating used for coating the handles for tools, it worked great. I don't know if this is the same stuff you are referring to but I got it at Home Hardware!! It comes in all kinds of colors as well, hope this helps, cheers!

It can be painted on.
A bit of a pain but it can be done.
My pops got his powder coated with the railings and cleats.
