boat engine hp

What size engine would I need for like a 14' boat on the fraser?

Well lets see.

25hp would be excellant.
You wouldn't have to run full out and would have some jam left over in case you needed it.
I wouldn't want to go under 20hp for sure.
Always better to have more than less when it comes to power for boats.
As well 3 or 4 people, gear etc you would need all that anyway.
