    Default Scuds/Shrimp

We haven't even finished the damsel/dragon swap and I am thinking about the next one.

I want scuds for the fall.
Looking for 11 eager participants to send in an even dozen.
I don't use shrimp/scuds enough and this fall I intend to change that.

I am going to call the cutoff August 3rd.
We need the flies for August 31st.
They should arrive at your house by Sept. 5th or 6th for trout approval shortly thereafter.

I will keep the participants on post one ( 1 ) here. Keep checking to see if your fave tier is on board.

Are they're even 12 shrimp patterns out there? I carry just the baggy shrimp and the pregnant baggy.

    Default most excellant

Here we go for the infamous scud swap.
    Don't be shy.
Remember, in the fall the trout put on the feed bag and shrimps is on the menu.

Maybe a sparkle shrimp, or baggie shrimp, or pearl back scud, or................

    Default many

Hey geoffvl the number of scud/shrimp patterns is huge.
Just by using a different body material the properties of the pattern are changed.
This would be a great way for you to expand your shrimp pattern base.

    are you in?

    Default new model

Knotnot, for the lakes I would try something more along the baggie shrimp or even a good old werners shrimp.
the ones you included in the damsel swap look very salty to me.
I see beaches in their futures.

What I am looking for in this swap is good freshwater shrimp/scuds for our lake rainbows.

Colour can be almost anything. I have seen pale blue hyalella shrimp. A buddy of mine used faded blue jean material for a pattern when the fish were keyed on them and did well.
    No, really.
