Fish Wizard shows it being 49.5 meters at the deepest. Try it you will like it, fish wizard that is![]()

I have been trying to find a depth chart on this lake but not having any luck. anyone know how deep it is? anyone fish it and how was it?
the lake says it has average 3lb fish but double digits is possible. trophy fishing barbless hooks and bait ban. says no camping but that people do, is there alternate camping nearby?
any info will help greatly. Thanks
thinking of going here in the fall

I love hunting, golf and anything else that keeps others off the water.
Morgan, as in off the tunkwa lake road near savona?
I cant remember what the deepest we showed on the sounder, but, we fished it early in the season (may 1) and if you dont mind the annoying sounds of dirt bikes ripping back and forth, it is stocked with some large triploids.
Fish off the weedbeds with chironomids, leaches work as well.
Half decent boat launch on the north side.
Oh yeah, there is also another lake further down the road, but, access can be slippery if you dont have a 4x4.

Thanks guys
RM fish wizard doesnt like to work for me most of the time so i have given up on it therefore i try looking everywhere else.49.5meters ! thats like 150feet hmm i read in a write up that it maxxed out at 50feet, see and this is why i wanted a topo map of the lake.
D -- i have a 4x4 so getting into places wont be a problem with 35"'sand dirt bikes dont bother me when im fishing. How was the fishing when you were there?
ok Rm i went back and gave fishwizard another try and it actually worked. always helps when things work. Max depth 7.3metresi will be checking it out this fall.
i hope that site works more for me now since i got a new computer (havent tried since i got the new one LOL)
I looked at Morgan Lake in the lowermain land, sorry. Also try Anglers Atlas for maps.

Pumpkinheads are the key in the fall.
I would camp at Leighton or Tunkwa and daytrip it to there, as well, there are lots of different lakes in that area that will produce in the fall
Good Luck!

ya when i looked at the directions (backroad book) i couldnt understand how i didnt know it was there as i have fished Tunkwa/Leighton many times over the last few years.
Well, I believe that it was just opened again for fishing 2 years ago.
now that i looked further i cant find it in my backroad book. is it a really small lake? anyone know where to find a map with directions.
