    Default sockeye flies

I want to flyfish for sox, but I have never fished for sockeye, fly or otherwise. What flies should I use? How should I present the flies (fast sink, floating, etc.)? Suggestions on where to fish (I will be spey fishing unless there is a good reason not to) will be appreciated.

Glad you were able to find a spot and get out Proff .. Lets try and hook up out there  My flys for socks are super simple...A marabu over wing with a little flash on the Fraser..Unless I'm on a nadal river such as the Harrison...Then it's Muddlers, Bucktails and Flash Flys...I usually fish a type 3-6, 109-129 grain sink tip depending on how deep or fast the flow is...Has anyone else been out on the fly lately? I was lucky enough to hit it right this morning. Check out the spaggetti tag.
