    Default Nuclear power

I'm only 22 so I wasn't really scared off by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. But to me nuclear power seems like a pretty good way to go. Doesn't seem like it impacts the environment much. There are many nuclear plants and we haven't heard of any problems for a while. Just thought i'd throw that out there.

Where do you put the nuclear waste so it doesn't affect the environment? Most of it goes to the bottom of the ocean or is buried in Washington state....near the Columbia River :wallbash:

Russia is a complete cesspool for nuclear waste.

    Hey

Am I out in the field for thinking the American gov't has our gov't and therefore us by the short and curly's ?
I think we need more solar and wind power with subsidies and tax brakes for using them.

Did a bit of reading on nuclear power. 11th warrior is right. The waste is a big problem.

+1 for those thoughts!! I'm a huge fan of solar/wind power. Anyone see Les Stroud's show "Off the Grid"? If you get a chance, definitely check it out!
