Hi there. I was proffessori on the old board. I dropped the second "f "so I could have it spelled correctly. (for some reason the old board wouldn't let me use the current name). Anyway, I know this topic (or one like it )was on the old board, but I know at least one other member will be joining who has changed his handle, so I thought this would be a good way for us to reacquaint ourselves with each other. I am a 58 year old man, live in Coquitlam, and teach at SFU. Currently I am on Sabbatical and consequently, I have time to fish when I want. I have been fly fishing for about 8 years now and this fall acquired my first spey rod. I am also an avid (and fairly good) fly tyer. I have a truck and 11' aluminum boat, and although I enjoy fishing solo, I am equally ready to partner up, especially if it is with someone who knows a thing or two about hooking up steelheads.
