Mizzoula Lake for kokanee with a wedding band worm says one of our regular trusted sources. They aren’t all that big, panfry size, bur oh so good!

Paradise / Island lakes fishing excellent on small caddis dries such as the BC Tri Wing Sedge,Baby Cali’s and the Goddard Sedge.

Steve went up tp Marquart last night, walked over to his favourite spot made one cast with a black mini leech and landed a four pound chromer. Feeling that was the pinnacle for the evening he packed his rod and headed home. Not a bad evening.

The Jacks are running quite well in the Thompson now. Reports of good catches are coming in.

The lower Fraser is fishing well for sockeye for everyone but me. I managed a sunburn on the back of my legs but couldn’t keep one pinned to the beach. Everyone else was getting limits, the fish gods weren’t with me that day. Next time.

We are going to try and get out this weekend.

Be safe and have fun.

Thompson River Jacks.
We have been hearing of good catches from some folks who live up the river. The fly fishing has been very good as well. Stones and dries as usual.

Hook has been producing fine catches of rainbows up to two pounds on black leeches and wedding bands tipped with live worms or power bait worms.

Coquihalla Lakes have been hot with bloodworms hung under an indicator according to our source, who has been up for a few days.

Seems like most of our local lakes are having decent dry fly activity in the evenings. Tom Thumbs and Baby Blondes are doing fine.

Sockeye are open in region two on the Fraser. The fishing has been fair to great for the last couple of days. It would be worth a trip down. See you between Chilliwack and Hope on Sunday.
The Sturgeon fishing continues to be very good. Just ask Steve, he landed his first ever the other day.

Have fun on the water.
