    Hook:
    Streamer size 8 – 6
    Thread: 6/0 Fire Orange
    Tail: Blue Mallard/Teal Flank
    Body: Mirage Opal Tinsel
    Rib: Silver Wire
    Under-wing: Light Blue Krystal Flash, Blue Mallard Flank
    Over-wing: Deer Hair
    Head: Spun Deer Hair/Silver Bead

    Directions:

    1. Slide your bead on first, wrap your thread across the entire shank of the hook covering it for a good foundation to tie on stopping just before the bend.
    2. Tie in some blue mallard or teal flank in for the tail, extending half the length of the shank.
    3. Tie in your silver wire and Mirage Opal Tinsel, wrap the Mirage Opal tinsel just shy of the bead, tie off. Then counter wrap your silver wire to the end of the tinsel.
    4. Tie in some Blue Mallard/Teal Flank for the wing, extending to the tip of the tail remember to also tie in a few strands of Light Blue Krystal Flash.
    5. Tie in a healthy clump of deer hair, keeping it to the top of the fly. While holding it wrap two loose wraps, sinch tight. Follow that with several more wraps whip finish, trim to shape and head cement. Remember the deer hair tips should match with the tail tips or close.
