• Olive Woolly Buggar

    Hook:
    Tiemco 5263 - 12-2
    Thread: 6/0 Olive
    Tail: Olive Woolly Buggar Marabou
    Body: Olive Pearl Chenille
    Hackle: Olive Saddle hackle
    Bead: Silver Cyclops

    Directions:

    1. Slide your bead on first, wrap your thread across the entire shank of the hook covering it for a good foundation to tie on stopping just before the bend.
    2. Select a nice Woolly Buggar Maribou feather, tie in just above the bend of the hook for your tail, not to long and not to full.
    3. Tie in a piece of small silver wire and your Olive saddle hackle, tips tips first. When it comes to the saddle hackle I like to use both sides, I dont strip it.
    4. Next tie in your Olive Pearl Chenille, wrap to bead, tie off and cut.
    5. Now you wrap your saddle hackle, when wraping the saddle hackle forward, make sure you pull the fibre back fith your fingers after each wrap, otherwise it can look clumpy and mesy. tie off at bead.
    6. Follow that by counter wrapping your silver wire to hold it all in place, so it doesnt fall apart after the first fish!
    7. Secure all steps by wrapping thread, not to much, whip finish, head cement, your done.
