Hook: Tiemco 7999 size 6 to size 2/0
Thread: Black
Tail: Orange Marabou
Weight: Dumbbell eyes
Body: Large Purple Crystal Chenille
Rib: Orange Saddle Hackle Palmered
Hackle: Lady Amherst Pheasant Tail (dyed orange)

Instructions: Lay down good thread base then tie in dumbbell eyes on to of the hook shank about 1/8 “ back from hook eye. Measure a clump of orange marabou about the length of the hook shank and tie in at the bend of the hook. Tie in the orange saddle at the hook bend tip first and pull aside. Tie in tie crystal chenille at the same point and wrap forward to just behind the eyes and tie off. Counter-wrap the saddle using about 5-6 turns to the tie-off point. Tie in about 20 Lady Amherst tail fibres spaced around the hook as a hackle. Tie off the thread in front of the eyes, whip finish and add a drop of head cement.

The color of the body, tail, palmer and hackle can all be altered as you see fit.
