British Columbia Fly Patterns, Coho Bucktail - Tied by Kevin Raffle

Hook: Size 4 - 8 TMC 5263
Bead: 1/8 Brass or Gold
Thread: 6/0 Red Uni thread
Body: Silver/Gold Uni Mylar
Wing: Green & Blue Buck tail & Pearl Crystal Flash over top

Instructions:

1. Slide the brass bead head to the eye of the hook.

2. Tie in Mylar at the heal of the hook.

3. Wrap Mylar forward to the 3/4 point of the hook. ( Be sure to make tight wraps as you bring the Mylar forward.)

4. At the 3/4 point of the hook tie in some green then blue Buck tail fibers.

5. Tie in three or four strands of Pearl Crystal flash over the buck tail and whip finish.
